Triumph Thunderbird description

Up for sale is my 2011 Triumph Thunderbird Storm. This is such an amazing bike and I really hate to let her go. However I have many other “horses” in the stable and she just doesn’t get the attention she deserves. So, it’s time to let her go to some lucky new owner who can ride her more often than I’m able to.

I’ve always been a big Triumph fan and this bike is far and away my favorite. It is truly a bad ass bike. The 1,700 cc vertical twin is very smooth and powerful and has a unique sound all it’s own. No one will mistake this bike for something else when they hear it. She has tons of power when you need it but the Storm is very predictable and balanced even weaving through traffic at slower speeds. It handles extremely well for a larger displacement bike. The bike feels, looks and rides like a new bike with only 3,400 miles.

When I first bought the bike I wanted to accessorize it so I could ride to the office and carry a brief case or take some things with me for a long pleasure cruise in the country. The genuine Triumph saddle bags perform flawlessly, provide ample storage and compliment the contours and style of the bike. The windscreen is adjustable, provides a measure of safety and helps keep the wind from beating you up on those long cruises.

I also added front crash bars and a padded rear back rest bar to give some comfort and safety to the passenger.

An additional safety item comes in the form of a head light modulator. This high tech unit turns the head lights on and off during the daylight hours as you ride. It automatically switches to just headlights on mode for night driving. It gets motorists attention while you’re riding and provides an extra measure of safety. It can be switched off entirely if desired by the new owner.

I have bought and sold many cars and motorcycles on eBay over the years and I am very proud of my 100% positive feedback. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I have included an NADA value sheet showing the current market value of the bike. My Buy it Now is $1,000 UNDER NADA and I have a very reasonable reserve price set as well.

This bike will make the new owner very happy. You will not be disappointed.

2013 Triumph Daytona 675 - Factory Kit version

Fri, 14 Dec 2012

Factory is the motorcycle world's equivalent of 'legend': it's a word that gets thrown around so much it loses its meaning. However, this Factory Race Kit Daytona 675 justifies the 'factory' tag. It's the kit developed by Triumph for race teams who want a quick step up to the maximum amount of performance a Daytona 675 can offer.
