Triumph Thunderbird description

This is a 2010 1700cc (104cu) Phantom Blue Haze Thunderbird with only 4,248 miles and tons of extras for sale. It is a single owner, bought new, is one of a very limited few that were imported from the UK before the Phantom Red Haze scheme was offered with the Big Bore Kit as a special edition. The paint fades from blue to black depending on how the light hits it. It has the BB kit installed plus a custom blackout powder coat job to take away some of the chrome (Triumph stole my idea with the Storm) and a bunch of extra stuff that I added over the last year. Factory Tbirds have a plastic license plate/turn signal frame that hangs from the rear fender covering the back tire. I removed that garbage, mounted the turn signals on the fender, and relocated the license plate to the side of the bike for a truly customized look. I also tuned it with the "Dizzy" racing tune from Thunderbird1600 World Forums (tested on a dyno by Dizzy) and it runs like a champ. I have the cable and original tune so it can easily be restored to factory settings in about 2 minutes (the cable comes with the bike). It's extremely responsive and fast. The bike is very easy to ride and feels like you couldn't drop it if you wanted to. It also has Lojack installed which means you get text alerts if the bike gets moved without the key fob in range and the cops can go straight to its location via GPS if it ever gets stolen.

This bike has over $7000 in extras to include a Phantom Blue Haze paint scheme unavailable in the U.S. with custom black-out powder-coat ($3500), 1700cc Big Bore kit, Triumph floorboards, Short TOR exhaust with cat bypass and custom tune, custom Corbin seat ($400+), Triumph black slim luggage rack, Triumph T-bars with black ISO grips (and end weights), black Triumph teardrop mirrors, Triumph Rocket III badges, Hagon Progressive front springs, black Hagon 2810 rear shocks (1 inch lower than stock), K&N air filter, custom relocated rear turn signals (on rear fender), custom built license plate mount left side (with built in frame lights and small leather studded registration bag, AND it has LOJACK installed. The bike comes with some other accessories that aren't mounted such as powder coated engine dresser bars, highway pegs, drive belt cover, original seat, original badges, etc).  It runs great and has no mechanical issues whatsoever. The 1700 BB kit, free flow exhaust, and custom tune makes this thing a beast. It's a great bike but my riding days are over due to an unrelated injury, an upcoming move, and the need for money.

This bike was over $20k new because of all of the add-ons and paint plus I've added a few thousand dollars worth of stuff over the last couple of years.  You won't find another Thunderbird like it.
