Triumph Thunderbird description

1965 Triumph Thunderbird bobber fresh build hardtail metalflake flames This is a fresh build, taken out twice... Im too much of a car guy to keep it, can't fit the old lady on it, and I need money for my 32 ford project. Lets start with the frame, it has been hardtailed, nice peanut tank, seat by Rick Phillips, guide fog, headlight. Starts easily, but the cab needs an adjust, it is realy cold blooded, need to keep giving it fuel until it's warm. New clutch controls, top end of motor is new, (tons of compression). Rear brake only. There is a chip to the case on top of the chain area. See photos. Ask ?? Must be picked up within two weeks, title is clean and clear. Chrome is old on the pipes, the little sissy bar is not chromed, (bare metal). It will need a battery as well! This bike is sold as is, no warranty, IF you are NOT into bikes, don't try to buy, if you don't intend to complete transaction, don't try to buy...

AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.

Looking after number 1

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.

2015 Triumph Daytona 250 Spied

Fri, 29 Nov 2013

Spy photographers have captured images of Triumph‘s upcoming 250cc sportbike. The new sportbike (we’re calling it the Daytona 250 until Triumph tells us otherwise) is one of two new 250cc single-cylinder models Triumph is designed primarily for India, where Triumph officially started operations this week. There is a very good chance however the Daytona 250 and its naked roadster sibling will be exported to other markets including here in the U.S.
