Latus Racing to Enter AMA Pro Flat Track with Bonneville Performance

Latus Motors Racing announced it is returning to AMA Pro Flat Track competition, working with the Bonneville Performance team with Triumph-powered machines. Last season, the Bonneville Performance team entered the first Triumph AMA Pro Flat Track team in 30 years. Johnny Lewis will ride Latus Motors Racing’s Castrol Triumph bike while Mikey Martin will ride the Bonneville Performance United States Marine Corps 2nd Battalion 4th Marines Triumph.

Zero Enters South American Market

Zero Motorcycles has signed a distribution deal with the Brazilian dealer network Grupo Izzo, bringing its electric motorcycles to first Brazil, and soon across South America. Brazil is one of the world’s fastest growing markets for motorcycles, a market Zero hopes to tap with its new distribution deal. Grupo Izzo is based mainly in Brazil with 11 locations, but has plans to expand into other South American countries.

Triumph Motorcycles Arriving in India in November

It’s a year behind schedule, but Triumph announced it will introduce its motorcycles to India by November. The British manufacturer had been gearing up for an Indian launch for over two years now, initially planning to enter the market in 2012. No reasons were given for the delay, and the sudden departure of Triumph Motorcycles India Managing Director Ashish Joshi didn’t help, but Triumph finally appears ready to start up operations in India.
