The heart of the Street Triple is the throbbing 675 cc triple, delivering 106 PS and 68 Nm of torque. It’s so good you’ll have trouble believing its only 675 cc. The torque and sound of the liquid-cooled 12-valve triple, combined with a close ratio 6-speed gearbox produce an exciting ride, and the under-engine silencer helps lower the center gravity and improve handling. Official Triumph Owner's Manual Confirms Speed Twin and Scrambler Name Changes
Mon, 27 Jun 2022Back in early May, MO broke the news that Triumph is giving the Street Twin and Street Scrambler models new names for 2023, renaming them the Speed Twin 900 and Scrambler 900, respectively. We have now uncovered further evidence of the name changes, plus confirmation that the models are otherwise identical to the 2022 versions. The cover for the 2022 manual for Triumph’s Modern Classics is on the left and the updated 2023 cover is on the right.
The TT800 From Deus Ex Machina
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Deus Ex Machina, the surf/moto shop known for creating throwback, one-of-a-kind motorcycles, has released its latest work of art, the TT800. Paying tribute to the highly successful Triumph factory TT machines from the mid-1960s, Deus’ expert builder, Michael Woolaway, created the TT800 for a customer requesting a new, old Triumph. It sources a Kawasaki W650 bored out to 800cc with CR carbs, a custom TT inspired exhaust, custom chromoly racing frame, re-valved Öhlins forks, and a custom gusseted swing arm for more stability. A Beringer six-piston caliper front brake provides stopping power.

Fri, 20 Sep 2013This is the Triumph Speed Twin Concept, a bike commissioned by Triumph to show what the Bonneville might have evolved into, in a parallel universe. I love the concept. Designed by Roy Norton and Tom Kasher who were on a placement at a design studio, I get the impression the pair are into motorcycle and not just designers.
