The heart of the Street Triple is the throbbing 675 cc triple, delivering 106 PS and 68 Nm of torque. It’s so good you’ll have trouble believing its only 675 cc. The torque and sound of the liquid-cooled 12-valve triple, combined with a close ratio 6-speed gearbox produce an exciting ride, and the under-engine silencer helps lower the center gravity and improve handling. It looks even better too, with stylish brushed metal finishes, aggressive headlights and a choice of colored-coded styling accessories complementing the dark powder coated engines and frames.

Michelin Unveils New Tire for Dual Sport Motorcycles
Wed, 06 Feb 2013More than half of the new BMW R 1200 GSs that roll off the assembly line in 2013 will be fitted with Michelin’s new big trail tire, the Anakee III. BMW and Michelin worked together to co-develop the dual-sport tire, which is designed to deliver all the safety and off road capability big trail motorcycle users demand. The Anakee III will also be available as a replacement option for other leading dual sport bikes, like the Suzuki V-Strom, Kawasaki KLR, Triumph Tiger and Yamaha Super Tenere.
50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
