Triumph Street Triple description

2012 Triumph Street Triple R - Phantom Black, 1 ADULT OWNER + LOADED! - Street Triple R. It’s a Street Triple with more attitude and more spec. The most fun you can have on two wheels. For 2012, the Street Triple R enjoys a stylish makeover with a host of detail changes, bold new colors and graphics, stylish brushed metal finishes and aggressive new headlights shared with the bigger Speed Triple. Distinguishing the Street Triple R are three stunning color schemes: Diablo Red, Crystal White and a striking Phantom Black and Gold combination. The Street Triple R is not a subtle motorcycle. It’s a bike for those who like to take it to the max.

Triumph did a lot more than just slap a partial fairing on the RS. While it’s still not a fully-faired sportbike (hence why it’s still a Speed Triple and not a Daytona), the RR is a much more track-focused machine than the RS.

Triumph Releases Third Adventure Bike Teaser Video

We know from the first two installments that Triumph is developing two models, one focused for on-road riding, the other for off-road, and both models will use a mid-sized long-stroke three-cylinder engine. The third part tells us the two models will use a steel frame and feature an upright riding geometry.

Bonneville from a parallel universe

This is the Triumph Speed Twin Concept, a bike commissioned by Triumph to show what the Bonneville might have evolved into, in a parallel universe. I love the concept. Designed by Roy Norton and Tom Kasher who were on a placement at a design studio, I get the impression the pair are into motorcycle and not just designers.
