Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.

Motocross Racer and Inventor Mike Schultz Named Outperformer – Video

Racer, inventor and amputee, Mike Schultz, is the subject of a mini-documentary produced by Royal Purple. Schultz, a championship racer with an impressive list of wins under his belt, is a pioneer in the field of adaptive action sports. The five minute documentary, Part of Royal Purple’s Outperformer series, tells Schultz’ story, including the motivations that drove him to triumph following a devastating accident; inspiring others to return to extreme sports following potentially career ending injuries; and how he became one of the best in his field both as a racer and inventor.

Speed Triple exhausts

The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!!
