Well after this last season of only driving the bike a handful of times I think it's time to let my baby go. Keep in mind I don't need to sell the bike so this isn't going to be a winter special price. If it's not sold by summer by then I will be able to get top dollar. Any ways details as follow 2811 miles SC Project exhaust Carbon fiber. Think I paid 1300 for it from Italy Have stock exhaust Reflashed computer for the exhaust Triumph bar end mirrors Aftermarket levers Rear fender delete. Have stock parts still Clean and clear title in hand I bought the bike new and as you can tell never drove it. It sat in my garage under cover most it's life. Heated storage all winter where it's at now. It has a fresh oil change with less then a few hundred miles on it. If you are not familiar with the special edition it's pretty sweet. 1 of 100 bikes made in the US I have yet to see one in the street. What makes it unique Blue frame Carbon fiber accents throughout Matt grey paint with blue pin stripe Suede seat with blue stitching Passenger seat cover Belly pan Fly shield Pin striped wheels And I'm sure I'm missing a few other things. Like I said I do not need to sell this but putting it out there right now to give someone the opportunity to own an awesome bike 1 of 100 I have a video of the bike that I can text or email Bike has never gave me a problem. Recall for 2011-2012 Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC for Engine Management Software
Thu, 25 Aug 2011Triumph issued a recall for the 2011 and 2012 Tiger 800 and 800XC adventure tourers due to a bug in the engine management software. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the Triumph Tigers’ 800cc Triple engine may stall during deceleration. Riders may also notice lower RPMs indicated on the tachometer at idle.
Recall for 2011 Triumph Tiger 800, 800XC Accessory Center Stands
Mon, 29 Aug 2011Triumph is recalling accessory center stands for the 2011 Tiger 800 and Tiger 800XC because of a defective return spring. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the return springs on the accessory center stand for the Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC may not always return to its original length, potentially leading to a loose center stand and a fracture in the spring wire. Riders may detect a rattling sound from the loose stand and in the case of a fractured spring, a scraping sound caused by the center stand dragging along the road.
