Triumph Speed Triple description
The icon. Redefined.
Speed Triple. Real world performance for riders who know. The definitive streetfighter. The benchmark. The best. In a word. Legend.
Triumph has taken all that’s good about the Speed Triple and created a new model. A new chapter in the legacy. All-new chassis is the sharpest tool in the box. All-new optional ABS from Nissin for the greatest stopping power. And that 1050cc triple. Oh yes, the engine. And the look? Short. Stubby. Aggressive. Twin headlights. Single sided swingarm. Alloy bars. Pure Speed Triple. Improved.
All-new chassis and riding position inspires total confidence with light and precise handling that is perfectly balanced for an incredibly planted and stable ride.
Triumph’s trademark twin headlights, single-sided swingarm and high-level exhaust have all been restyled for a more aggressive and contemporary look, as well as improved performance, while the soulful 1050cc triple has been refined and uprated with 7% more torque for an even more engaging experience.
The Speed Triple sports the kind of specification you would expect from a top-of-the-range naked sportster. Track derived specification includes four-piston Brembo brakes for eye-popping stopping power, fat alloy handlebars, fully-adjustable 43mm upside down forks for maximum control and a comprehensive instrumentation that includes lap timer and programmable gear shift light.
The Speed Triple also comes with optional anti-lock brakes for the first time and is available with a host of genuine accessories to personalize the look, performance and practicality of this exciting machine.

2013 Triumph Special Edition Bonneville and Speed Triple Announced
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Triumph has revealed Special Edition versions of the Bonneville and Speed Triple for 2013, proving once again that nothing delivers a bang for the buck like cosmetic enhancements to popular models. Most appealing to our eyes is the subtle but sexy Triumph Speed Triple SE (pictured above.) Its Matte Graphite color is beautifully set off by soft blue accents of the frame, swingarm, subframe and wheel pinstriping. Included on the SE are a color-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl.
The Steve McQueen Desert Racer
Tue, 24 Mar 2009There are few motorcycle icons within pop culture that have endured as vividly as that of the late, great Steve McQueen. A man who was at one time the highest paid actor in Hollywood, he avoided the limelight in favor of immersing himself within his passion for motorcycles. Never afraid of getting dirty, McQueen was at his happiest flogging a bike around the track with fellow racers or tinkering with the machines himself.
Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.
