Our salespeople enjoy finding customers the right bike. We offer the World’s Largest Selection of new and used Harley-Davidsons, plus we keep over a hundred foreign trade-ins in stock as well. This means we can very often find customers exactly the bike they are looking for in the right price range. We have sold over 37,000 motorcycles in the last twenty years and enjoyed every minute of it. In the twenty years before that, the exact number is a little hazy. Those were the years with cookouts on weekends, kegs of beer left next to the grill with stacks of cups. We’re pretty sure we enjoyed those years as well but no one here remembers how many bikes we sold. Speed Triple gets mean
Fri, 29 Oct 2010I headed up the M1 this week to the Triumph Factory in Hinckley. The Speed Triple was due its 12000 mile major service and the workshop also had some new shiny bits to add to the bike for me. Service intervals are every 6000 miles which is more than bearable but the major service will cost you around £450.
Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned
Wed, 08 Jan 2014Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.
India Raises Import Duty on Motorcycles to 75%
Thu, 28 Feb 2013The government of India has laid out its budget for 2013-2014, increasing the import duty for large motorcycles. The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.
