1969 Triumph T100 Tiger 500cc twin. Less than 600 miles on rebuilt motor. Starts first or second kick. Strong running bike. Hardtail is a David Bird 4"over with a 2" drop.  Sparx battery eliminator and spark plug coil replaced under custom seat- new Sinister Seats custom seat, mini apes by Front Street Cycle- has some paint chipped off, 21" front wheel with spool hub- Avon Speed Master. 18" Bridgestone Coker rear. Frame powdercoated black after all bungs and tabs were welded on, bike runs well and is fast, kick start only, key with lock, heartland tailight/running light, EMGO cocktail shakers, custom paint, custom made leather p pad is to keep rider on bike, custom chromed, struts, mid mounted wassel-style tank, wassel style fender with finger loop welded on, factory metal works points cover, tool bag with "FTW" engraved, 2" CRG hindsight Mirror, 4.5" head light pin striping by Anthony White, Fab Kevin horizontal license plate bracket, single Amal carb, 44 mag risers, chrome oil tank with 44 mag riser cap, #'s on title match frame and engine.

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. It has a new frame, new suspension, new swingarm, wheels, bodywork, tank, new clocks, new headlights, in fact pretty much everything is new, everything except the engine that is! Many look at a bike's engine as its heart and soul.

The weather was pretty good over the weekend and I managed to get 500 miles in and become better acquainted with the Speed Triple. I’m still running it in but as it’s reputation suggest the bike doesn’t disappoint. There are some noticeable differences over most other naked bikes I’ve ridden, you could call them quirks, but i'll talk about those in a week or so.
