1971 Triumph TR6R Classic Vintage 650cc Motorcycle (1971)
I have a vintage classic Triumph TR6R 650cc motorcycle. I got it about a year and a half ago and got it into a somewhat decent, safe, rideable condition. When I got it there was a lot wrong and I've done quite a bit of work to get it to where it is good to ride. I hate to sell it since I love riding it but my daughter has had some medical problems and I need to help her out. Most everything that was replaced as new was around a year or so ago. I've put almost 3500 miles on it since so there will be some wear for the new items. Bike is currently registered as an Antique and has a clear transferable title in my name. Frame and engine are matching numbers. Details both good and bad. As I said this is a rider and will make a good project for someone or just take it out and enjoy it. This motorcycle runs like a watch, and always starts on the first kick. This motorcycle has newly rebuilt Engine using all Triumph Parts. The transmission was also rebuilt using factory parts. The bike has new wheels with S.S. Spokes, and as you can see in the picture they were Made in England. The motorcycle has the Original Tank and Fenders. The bike received a New Carburetor and Magneto. This bike has Avon Tires, and they are the correct tires for the bike. The Tachometer and Speedometer were rebuilt by Nisonger Instrument of New York. Tue, 21 Sep 2021After a lengthy pandemic-caused delay, the 25th James Bond film, “No Time to Die” is finally going to premiere in a matter of weeks (Oct. 8 in the U.S.). Triumph was a partner for the film, supplying a Scrambler 1200 and a Tiger 900 for key action sequences in the movie.

Triumph did a lot more than just slap a partial fairing on the RS. While it’s still not a fully-faired sportbike (hence why it’s still a Speed Triple and not a Daytona), the RR is a much more track-focused machine than the RS.

Instead, we’ve received teaser images for a different new Triumph model we’ve been anticipating: the Triumph Tiger Sport 660. Triumph sent us photos of a prototype Tiger Sport 660, the second model to make use of the platform introduced with the Trident.

Details remain scarce, as Triumph seems to have planned a long teaser campaign (and we know how much our readers love those), but we can form some conclusions based on the images we’ve seen, and on the name: the Speed Triple 1200 RR. From the name, it’s obvious the sportbike will be based on the Speed Triple 1200 RS, with a similar cast aluminum frame and 1160cc Triple which claims 177 hp at 10,750 rpm and 92 lb-ft.
