Triumph’s 500,000th Production Motorcycle Headed to Auction on July 1st
Thu, 16 Jun 2011It was less than a month ago that Triumph’s 500,000th production motorcycle, a special Speed Triple with commemorative paint job, rolled off the line. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will put the special Trumpet on the auction block on July 1, 2011, during the Goodwood Festival of Speed. Comedian Ross Noble has completed his Sit Down Tour of Great Britain with the milestone Triumph, and now the bike is ready to raise money for Riders for Health charity.

Tue, 10 Nov 2009British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph and Swiss watch manufacturer TAG Heuer have collaborated to create a special, one-of-a-kind “Bonneville Heuer” Triumph motorcycle. The association between Triumph and TAG Heuer comes as a result of their common values and the legacy of Steve McQueen, who was famously linked to both brands. The TAG Heuer Bonneville features a unique blue and orange paint scheme that was inspired by the Porsche sports car driven by Steve McQueen’s character in the movie Le Mans (1971).
Freedom Friday Photo Contest

Riders can partake in a weekly contest related to these issues and win prizes. The issue that kicks off today is access discrimination, which can be illustrated with a photo of a “No Motorcycles Allowed” sign, “Wilderness” sign or anything related to freedom to illustrate their concern as a motorcyclist.
