2012 Triumph Other on 2040-motos
Triumph Other tech info
Triumph Other description
A very clean, low miles, well maintained bike with no modifications. Even the little "nubs" are still on the factory tires. Adult owned, adult ridden.
I am the original owner and purchased the bike right off of the showroom floor in late 2012. It's been stored indoors and never been dropped. I was personally drawn by it's classic Triumph "Cafe' Racer" style and it receives positive attention almost every place I ride it. Very smooth running and responsive. The bike is available for buyer's pick-up in the Syracuse, NY area. The location is about ten minutes from I-81, I-481 and I-90 (NYS Thruway). If you are not going to pick it up personally, I can work with your shipper. I can keep the bike stored indoors for a reasonable period of time to await shipping arrangements, if necessary. The reserve price is not "dreamer" high, Very realistic, and certainly lower than the current book value on it, so don't be shy about bidding. The $500. PayPal deposit is non-refundable, but will be deducted from the winning bidder's payment at completion of the sale. Thank you for looking, and if you're bidding, good luck! |

FIM Updates Superbike Racing Homologation Lists for 2013
Tue, 19 Feb 2013The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) has released an updated list of motorcycles homologated for the 2013 Superbike, Supersport, and Superstock racing season. Notable additions include the new BMW S1000RR HP4, the MV Agusta F3 and the Superbike-spec Ducati 1199 Panigale R. To qualify a production-based racebike for FIM homologations, manufacturers have to meet certain production thresholds.
Church of MO: 2002 Triumph Speed Triple
Sun, 09 Jan 2022Still no score and twenty years ago, yours truly came to work at MO for the first time (where I apparently found it my duty to insert a lot of parentheticals signed Ed). I think the 2002 Triumph Speed Triple was one of the first bikes we reviewed upon my arrival. That’s me resting on the couch after performing the horn mono for Minime’s Kodak Brownie, which took a lot out of me.
New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Thu, 24 Mar 2011Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.
