Triumph Other tech info
Triumph Other description
The America uses the same engine as the Triumph Bonneville. However, the Bonneville America is very different to ride with the wheelbase extended 6.4ins. The saddle was lowered 2.2 ins and the steering head rake angle increased by 4.3 degrees. The America has the Bonneville's 12.2-inch (310 mm) front disc but the front wheel was reduced to 18 ins diameter and the rear wheel to 15ins with a larger 11.2-inch disc brake. The side panels were extended with sheet-metal covers over the passenger-peg brackets and perforated chrome fittings, providing the 'retro look' of the air-filter covers from the 1960 Triumph twins. The rider's footrests were also moved to the front of the engine to create the classic cruiser riding position. - one owner, Dealer inspection, This TRIUMPH is in Excellent overall exterior condition - Fuel Injected, Disc Brakes, 1 owner bike - Contact SF Moto at 415-255-XXXX or XXXX@yahoo.com for more info. - A little bit about us, SF Moto is a locally owned shop catering to 1st time scooter & motorcycle buyers. AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike Riders Gearing Up For Road America
Thu, 29 May 2014The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.
