Triumph Other description

1971 Triumph Trident (Black) I am selling my beloved 1971 Triumph Trident in Black it is a reluctant sale. I bought this bike a year ago and have spent the last year getting it back into the current state it is now. I has just had the top end completely rebuilt including: Rebore, piston rings, valve seats etc All the carbs have been cleaned and checked over. The rear break has been configured to be more efficient (its always nice to be able to stop). It has had all the other kinks worked out replacing light bulbs, new oil, filters, spark plugs, greasing cables, replaced hoses etc. The motor runs really strong and is in attractive shape after the rebuild it will need to be re-torqued after about 500 mis i can pass on the specialists i pre-owned they are great are what they do and know the bike. I have all receipts to prove the work has been done by a triumph specialist and has cost me thousands to get to the condition it is in now. It has all the original panels and had cafe racer handle bars. The only bad point is there is a small ding in the fuel tank you can see in the pics from when it was dropped against a wall. As you can see from the images the bike is in amazing condition and runs like a dream. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

2010 Triumph Speed Triple exhausts tested

Over the last month I’ve been busy trying out some of the exhausts available for the Speed Triple. Apart from being very easy to fit, they all claim power gains of around 8bhp and give substantial weight savings. It’s worth noting at this point that Triumph only recommend Arrow cans and discourage the fitting of slip on exhausts especially if they are not mapped to the bike.

Transport Canada has announced a recall for the 2012 and 2013 Triumph Daytona 675, Speed Triple, Street Triple and Tiger 800 because of a flaw in their turn signals. Several members of the Motorcycle.com forum network’s TriumphRat.net community have reported issues with turn signals breaking off, and this recall appears to address the issue. According to Transport Canada, the supports for the front and rear turn signals were incorrectly manufactured and may break.
