LQQK !! LOW RESERVE !!
PLEASE READ ALL AUCTION TEXT TO AVOID ANY CONFUSION !!! Reluctantly selling my 1961 Duplex Pre-Unit 650 Tiger T110 twin. This bike simply deserves better than I can do right now. :( I feel like a bad father. lol. I've owned this bike for 6 years and ridden it twice. That's what happens when you have 28 bikes in your garage :). Bike runs great and has a working 'slick shift' gearbox for those of you that know what that is. Very rare option and even rarer to find one that's functional. The tank is actually from a 1963 Bonneville but I'm including a rough, but original Duplex tank with the deal (see pictures). Great bike to restore or even better if you just want a pre-unit to ride as is. Matching numbers and clear title. Needless to say these are simply getting more scarce all the time. I may be wrong ( I was once :) ) but I'd be m ore than surprised if you can find a running Pre-Unit for my reserve !!
See my other auctions for more great British parts at no reserve!!! All parts sold as is.
Payment must be made within 5 days of receipt of auction total by paypal only. Do not bid on this item unless you intend to complete the transaction. Seller reserves the right to cancel auction at anytime and cancel unwanted bids. Winning bidder to pay all shipping costs. Make sure you see my other auctions for more great British bikes and parts. Once again thanks and good luck bidding. This shouldn't be necessary, unfortunately, it is. If you don't have the money, don't bid. If you can't afford the shipping, don't bid. If you don't like something about the item, don't bid. Really, your bid is a contract - my time is valuable, so is the time of other legitimate bidders - don't bid if you can't, or won't, pay! ALL ITEMS SOLD AS IS WITH NO GUARANTEE WRITTEN OR IMPLIED !!

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Thu, 24 Mar 2011Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.
Twin-Engined Triumph Rocket Streamliner To Challenge Motorcycle Land-Speed Record At Bonneville
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The 1,000-horsepower Castrol Rocket is currently undergoing testing for its upcoming assault on the land speed record of 376.156 mph, set in 2010, by Rocky Robinson with the Ack Attack streamliner. The goal: a 400-mph-plus record-breaking run. The 25-foot long x 2-foot wide x 3-foot high streamliner was constructed in cooperation by Hot Rod Conspiracy and Carpenter Racing and will compete in the Division C (Streamlined) – Type V (5) Spark Ignition, Over 2,000cc to 3,000cc class. Powering the Rocket are two heavily modified Triumph Rocket III engines. Each Carpenter Racing built engine was reduced from 2,294cc to 1,485cc (2,970cc total) to meet the 3,000cc maximum total displacement class rule requirement. While piston size remains the same stock 4-inch bore, stroke was reduced from 3.75 inches to 2.4 inches and redline increased from 5,750 rpm to 9,000+ rpm. There’s also one Garrett GT2876R ball bearing, liquid-cooled turbocharger per engine.
