Triumph Daytona description

2010 Triumph Daytona 675, DAYTONA 675 SE VERY NICE BIKE, ARROW EXHAUST - DAYTONA 675 The class-leading sport bike. Stunning agility. The best supersport bike in the world or a class of its own? Designed for the racetrack, to compete with the best in the supersport class, Triumph’s Daytona 675 is the bike to beat on both the road and the track. Winner of the 2009 Supertest ‘King of Supersports’ award (for the fourth time) and MCN’s Sportsbike of the Year, the Daytona 675 delivers a killer blow with its combination of outstanding handling and a storming three-cylinder engine. With the lightest and narrowest chassis in the class, the Daytona 675 delivers outstandingly agile and intuitive handling. Fully adjustable suspension front and rear, with separate adjustment for high and low speed compression damping, gives the Daytona 675 superb composure on all surfaces, while top-of-the-range monobloc radial brake calipers up front deliver eye-popping stopping power. But it is the engine that makes the Daytona 675 stand apart from the competition. With 126 boiler-horsepower and more torque than the competition, the 675 cubic-centimeter triple offers an exhilarating ride. With its unique, wicked three-cylinder howl, the Daytona 675 delivers an unadulterated experience like no other sport bike. Updates for 2010 include new instruments, decals and a new color option in Caspian Blue paint with Gold wheels.

Price William The Duke Of Ducs And Other Motorcycles

Mon, 02 Dec 2013

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, visited Britain’s largest motorcycle show, Motorcycle Live, at the National Exhibition Center in Birmingham. The visit saw the Duke astride numerous motorcycle models including UK icons Norton and Triumph as well as a Ducati 1199 Superleggera (one of the few men able to afford the $70,000 rarity). During his visit Prince William enjoyed a display of off-road riding – one of nine opportunities for visitors to ride at Motorcycle Live, eight of which are inside the halls of the NEC. He also met Dean Linehan, exhibitions director of MCI Exhibitions, the company that organizes the annual motorcycle exhibition.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

The future. But we can't have it

Thu, 10 Nov 2011

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
