Re-bore new Pistons and rings Crank/Pistons/Conrods dynamically balanced Sludge trap cleaned, new big end shells and big end regrind. New valves, valve springs. New clutch basket and clutch roller bearings. New carburetors (Amal Monobloc) New header pipes and mufflers New battery, wiring Harness New high output alternator New control cables New Boyer electronic ignition (New 6v Coils) Reconditioned tachometer and speedometer New oil pump (Spin on Norton oil filter fitted) Every seal and bearing replaced (in the Engine and in the frame) Respray all frame parts and tank/Fenders to original factory color. New seat and seat foam Original tool kit New tires, and final drive chain Pink slip in hand tags until June 2017 500 miles since complete restoration receipts for over $7000, I also have manuals and restoration photographs. 2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. On hand throughout the day to meet with fans and pose for pictures were Calendar Kittens Apple Price, together with official SBK World Superbike grid girls Jessica Harbour and singer/songwriter Sarah Horvath.

Sat, 26 Jan 2013SAM Christmas has been a professional photographer for the last 3 years and is the man behind Natural Habitats, a collection of photos covering the growing UK custom scene, showing bikes and their builders at home. Sam's clients include the likes of Honda, Dainese, Google, Polo Jeans and Edwin denim but Natural Habitats is a personal project that took one and a half years to complete. I got to meet Sam when the exhibition opened in Shoreditch on Thursday evening.
2012 Triumph Daytona 675 Revealed; Graphics Both Bolder and Newer
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Triumph revealed the 2012 edition of its Daytona 675 supersport, featuring a few cosmetic changes from the 2011 model. For 2012, the Triumph Daytona675 will be available in Phantom Black or Diablo Red. Cosmetic updates include new decals, updated Triumph script on the fuel tank, and a jet black bellypan similar to the Daytona 675R unveiled earlier this year.
