Triumph Bonneville description

2013 Triumph Bonneville Two Tone, 2013 Triumph Bonneville Two ToneThe most famous name in motorcycling. A legend. Over 50 years of engineering excellence. A thoroughly modern interpretation of the authentic 'proper' motorcycle. This iconic symbol of rebellion and independence is even more appealing now thanks to its modern specification, low seat, clean fuel-injected 865cc engine and lightweight 17 inch alloys for even sharper handling. Stirs the heart, not the wallet. The name and look may be traditional, but don t for one second think that the Bonneville is old-fashioned.At the heart is a modern 865cc parallel-twin engine that s fuel-injected for easy starting, sweet running and compliance to even the strictest modern emissions regulations. You ll have to look twice though, as traditional carburettor bodies are used to disguise the throttle bodies. Keeping it all in check is a modern chassis that provides sweet handling and stunning agility, thanks in no small part to those 17 alloy wheels, while the low seat height makes the Bonneville manageable and unintimidating for riders of all ages and experience.A wide range of accessories are also available for the Bonneville, allowing riders to personalise the Bonneville to meet their specific needs.FeaturesLooksBonneville. Tue, 05 Jul 2022

Speed Twin 900 and Scrambler 900 name changes are now official Triumph announced updated color options for its Bonneville “Modern Classics” range, as well as new names for the Street Scrambler and Street Twin. The 2023 paint schemes are generally more vibrant than the 2022 colors, a change brought about in part from the popularity of last year’s Gold Line edition models. Confirming the news we first reported in May, the Street Scrambler has been renamed the Scrambler 900, while the Street Twin will now be called the Speed Twin.

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
