Triumph Bonneville description

2013 TRIUMPH Bonneville, The most famous name in motorcycling. A legend. An evolution. With the latest Triumph Bonneville you re riding over 50 years of engineering excellence. A thoroughly modern interpretation of the definitive proper motorcycle, this iconic symbol of rebellion and independence is even more accessible thanks to its low and narrow seat, clean and efficient fuel-injected engine and lightweight 17 alloy wheels, for even sharper handling. The engine is bang up to date too. An air-cooled parallel-twin as only a Bonneville can be, the 865cc unit employs modern fuel injection technology for clean running and excellent fuel economy, with that sound and feel that only a Triumph delivers. With its cast wheels, short mudguards and simple black scheme, the look is pure 70's. Modern engineering with a classic style. The Bonneville delivers a pure and unadulterated experience for riders of all ages. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) if shown for a vehicle excludes set-up, freight, taxes, title, licensing or other dealer charges, and is subject to change. Individual dealer prices may vary.

2015 Triumph 250 Preview

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

With all the new motorcycles Triumph presented earlier this month at the 2013 EICMA show in Milan, Italy, we were hoping to see the company’s new 250cc models. Unfortunately, the new small-displacement Triumph models (which made our list of Top 10 Motorcycles to Watch For at EICMA) were not yet ready to be revealed, though Triumph did offer us a glimpse of what to expect, with a sketch of its 250 sportbike. At Milan, the company referred to the sportbike as “Triumph’s New 250″, though it will get a proper name when it’s officially, presented as a 2015 model, likely at next year’s EICMA show or at Intermot in Cologne, Germany.

India Raises Import Duty on Motorcycles to 75%

Thu, 28 Feb 2013

The government of India has laid out its budget for 2013-2014, increasing the import duty for large motorcycles. The news will impact several major manufacturers hoping to gain a stake in the world’s second largest motorcycle market. India has become the hotspot for manufacturers but one of the biggest obstacles they face is the duty India levies on luxury goods.

Speed Triple exhausts

Mon, 19 Apr 2010

The Speed Triple sounds quite throaty with the standard pipes, on the overrun it pops and farts to its heart content but it could be louder. Also standard pipes are usually quite heavy, on the Triple they weigh 9.3kg!!! Triumphs preferred exhaust manufacture is Arrow and they offer side and under seat options as official Triumph accessories.
