Triumph Bonneville description

I'm selling my beloved cafe racer converted Triumph Bonneville T100, one of the best toys I have ever owned.

I bought the bike last year (Nov) from Motor Cycle Center (Team MCC) all stock with no modifications. Over the winter I transformed the stock T100 into what I thought a cafe racer styled bike should look like. I wanted to build something that would be a reliable bike that had a 'gritty' look to it, but still was very clean

It is the T100 "Black Edition" and has 17,000 miles on it. The bike is extremely clean and well kept for the mileage. Recent oil change and new battery ~1,000 miles ago. The tires are going to need replacing mid next season, they still have some life remaining. It has been very reliable and has never left me stranded or given me any problems. It has really been a great ride.

The bike comes along with TONS of attention. Everyone wants to talk to you about it. I cannot ride it anywhere without someone wanting to start a conversation about it.

After I bought it from MCC I began modifying the bike.

Extras include:

-D&D 2-1 race exhaust
-Heat wrapped exhaust
-plasti dipped the wheels, headlight, and headlight brackets. (has held up GREAT)
-painted rear sprocket black
-maund fender eliminator
-new turn signals front and rear
-maund rear signal brackets
-norman hyde rear sets, these are my favorite mod by far.
-thruxton gel seat
-thruxton rear seat cowl
-removed the rubber pads from the tank knee area
-British customs airbox elimination kit.
-authentic napoleon bar end mirrors.
-LSL clip on handle bars.
-fork gauters
-D9 low profile gauge mount
-thruxton front fender
-new headlight brackets
-new front brake rotor
-removed the rear chain guard
-matte black center stripe (vinyl) on the tank and rear seat cowl
-rear passenger pegs removed
-front end is lowered about an inch

Always garaged and well cared for. Wiped down after every ride. All stock items that were replaced are included. It has never been down or dropped.

Title in hand. NO TEST RIDES. Located in South Chicagoland, IL.

*i have the right to end this auction early as it is also for sale locally.

Bonneville from a parallel universe

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

This is the Triumph Speed Twin Concept, a bike commissioned by Triumph to show what the Bonneville might have evolved into, in a parallel universe. I love the concept. Designed by Roy Norton and Tom Kasher who were on a placement at a design studio, I get the impression the pair are into motorcycle and not just designers.

Motocross Racer and Inventor Mike Schultz Named Outperformer – Video

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

Racer, inventor and amputee, Mike Schultz, is the subject of a mini-documentary produced by Royal Purple. Schultz, a championship racer with an impressive list of wins under his belt, is a pioneer in the field of adaptive action sports. The five minute documentary, Part of Royal Purple’s Outperformer series, tells Schultz’ story, including the motivations that drove him to triumph following a devastating accident; inspiring others to return to extreme sports following potentially career ending injuries; and how he became one of the best in his field both as a racer and inventor.

Spy Video of Updated Triumph Daytona 675 Testing

Fri, 05 Aug 2011

MCN has released a video of what appears to be an updated Triumph Daytona 675 undergoing road testing. Filmed by an MCN reader near Triumph’s Hinckley factory, the video quality isn’t very high, but we can see some details from the enhanced screenshot above (click to see a larger version). The most noticeable change is the placement of the exhaust.
