The classic Triumph. Parallel-twin, spoked-wheels and lashings of quality chrome. The T100 is our modern interpretation of the classic Bonnevilles that ruled the roost back in the 1960s. Twin pea-shooter exhausts, two-tone paint and that Triumph embossed seat say ‘classic British motorcycle’ but while the T100 may look like its come straight out of ‘the day’, the technology and ride experience most definitely do not. The 865 cubic-centimeter engine, an air-cooled parallel twin of course, is fitted with up-to-date fuel injection for clean and efficient riding. Plus, the suspension and brakes are bang up-to-date too. You won’t have to sacrifice today’s technology to satisfy your taste for classic, vintage design. Riding the way it was in the 'hay day'. Recall for 2011-2012 Triumph Sprint GT, Tiger 800, Tiger 800XC Optional Top Box
Thu, 11 Aug 2011Triumph issued a recall for optional accessory top boxes for the 2011-2012 Sprint GT sport tourer and the Tiger 800 and 800XC dual sports. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the top box locking handle is missing a clip lip to ensure a proper lock on the rear rack. Without this clip, the locking mechanism may not be secure, potentially leading to the top box falling off of the motorcycle.
