Triumph Bonneville description
2005 Triumph Bonneville, Just traded! - A modern day roadster with a tangible connection to the classic style of times gone by, the Bonneville mixes timeless British engineering with modern technology and thinking. The result is captivating. As befits such an honest machine, at the core of the Bonneville is a sonorous and instantly recognizable 790cc, air-cooled, twin-cylinder engine. Laden with character - and with a distinct kick in its power delivery - the Bonnie engine entertains as much as it transports. Matching the rugged motor is a chassis of substance. A massively strong, tubular steel, cradle frame, telescopic forks and disc brakes provide surefooted confidence while nimble steering geometry makes the Bonneville a sweet, neutral ride. In an ever more complicated world sometimes the simple things bring the most pleasure. The Bonneville is an uncomplicated - and very real motorcycle that blends the old and new. It appeals because it looks, feels and sounds just as a motorcycle should. Theres nothing clever about that. But then maybe thats the point.

New Triumph Touring Bike Spied!
Fri, 03 Dec 2010The lucrative touring segment will soon get a jolt when Triumph enters the market with a flourish. Spy photos from England’s Motor Cycle News show what looks to be a replacement for the Trophy touring model that bit the dust back in 2003. The bike is much larger than Triumph’s Sprint GT sport-tourer, promising a bigger, more powerful three-cylinder engine.
Tested: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's
Fri, 17 Jun 2011Two months ago I had a set of Bridgestone BT-016 Pro’s fitted to my Triumph Speed Triple. Before setting out on the new tyres, the Speed had covered 4000 miles. Now with just over 7000 on the clock the rear tyre is on the limit markers.
