2024 Triumph Street Triple 765 R/RS Review - First Ride

Fri, 03 Mar 2023

A significant engine update combined with further chassis refinement Credit: Photos by Gareth Harford, Andrew Northcott, and Chippy Wood For the previous week, I’d anxiously checked the weather reports for updates. Sandwiched in between swaths of little sun icons were two little black clouds spewing raindrops. Triumph Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE Recalled for Throttle Position Sensor Error

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Triumph is recalling a combined total of 2,800 units of the Tiger Explorer and Trophy SE due to a problem with the electronic control unit detecting the throttle position. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the ECU’s detection threshold is set too tightly and it lacked proper signal filtering, causing it to prematurely detecting a deviation in the throttle butterfly position. The ECU would then activate the ride-by-wire system’s safety shutdown, closing the throttle butterly valve and cutting the fuel and ignition.

Church of MO: 2012 Triumph Scrambler Review

Sun, 13 Nov 2022

Now it’s the Triumph Street Scrambler, but 10 years ago it was the Triumph only Scrambler, and it was time to open fire with the Steve McQueen marketing machine. And its pair of bigger Scrambler 1200s, XE and XC, are truly sublime motorcycles we’d ride anywhere.
