Triumph Bonneville description

You are bidding on a used 1979 Triumph Bonneville Special. Only serious buyers. 1 year production only, matching numbers. Bike has many new parts: fork tubes & seals, throttle cable, speedometer cable, rear sprocket, steering head bearings, front/rear brake master cylinders & callipers rebuilt. Bike runs fine, shifts through all gears. All electrics except right hand switch work. New turn signals, bike has boyer ignition. Side cover emblems should say Bonneville Special, they are no longer available this is why it states Bonneville 750 on the side. 


This bike is for pick-up only. One half of selling price for deposit is required at end of sale thru Pay Pal. It is the responsibility of the buyer to make arrangements for pick-up of the bike within 2 weeks of auction end. Remaining payment should be made through Pay Pal before pick-up of bike or money order/cash at time of pick-up. NO CHECKS WILL BE EXCEPTED. If after the 2 week period if no contact has been made to pick-up the bike, you forfeit your deposit.

Oil On Canvas Originals To Be Auctioned

Bonhams will be auctioning two oil on canvas originals from contemporary motorsports artist Robert Carter, January 9th at Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel and Casino. The title piece for this auction (pictured above) measures 48” x 60” and depicts AMA Flat Track star Jim Rice piloting his BSA to victory at the 1970 Santa Rosa Mile. Carter’s second original celebrates the Catalina Grand Prix of 1950’s fame. The oil on canvas piece is 36” x 60”. In addition to these two originals, some of Carter’s Giclee prints will be available.

Latus Racing to Enter AMA Pro Flat Track with Bonneville Performance

Latus Motors Racing announced it is returning to AMA Pro Flat Track competition, working with the Bonneville Performance team with Triumph-powered machines. Last season, the Bonneville Performance team entered the first Triumph AMA Pro Flat Track team in 30 years. Johnny Lewis will ride Latus Motors Racing’s Castrol Triumph bike while Mikey Martin will ride the Bonneville Performance United States Marine Corps 2nd Battalion 4th Marines Triumph.

Third Annual ‘The MEET’ at ACM

More than 2,000 attendees visited America’s Car Museum for its 3rd annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival ‘The MEET’ last weekend in Tacoma, Washington, where over 300 motorcycles and scooters were showcased on the Haub Family Field at LeMay. The event drew pre-1981 motorcycles and scooters from the U.S. and Canada, including an antique motorcycle display, swap meet, cruise-in and a 78-mile roundtrip tour from ACM’s Anderson Plaza to Mt. Rainier.
