Triumph Bonneville description

1971 Triumph none matching numbers. It has a 1966 T120 motor with makuni carbs and boyer ignition. The motor was rebuilt in 1992 by RPM in San Jose CA, over 3,000 invested in the motor, the motor was in storage for years,so it has little to no miles.I did ride it around the block yesterday, and I do start it from time to time. All the wiring has been redone with a new gel battery on a battery tender.I have put many new parts on the bike like, RFY shocks,Renthal grips, tires and tubes, clubman bars, parts unlimited levers, throttle, custom leather seat and a hand made rear set. I do have a lot of time and money in the bike but you are not going to win a bike show the rims are originl and show there age but it is a nice peace of British history.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Zard: a must have for Scrambler fans

Tue, 10 Nov 2009

ZARD EXHAUSTS have unveiled a tasty, white, full-length system to fit the latest Triumph Scrambler, at this year's Milan Motorcycle Show. Prices, spec and availability have yet to be announced but we think the system really brightens up the Scrambler's appearance. It's also a great improvement over the standard Triumph drain-pipe job.

Street Triple gets a Yoshi boost

Fri, 21 Jan 2011

Yoshimura, the purveyors of fine aftermarket exhausts have put the heads together for these fine looking high-level cans for the Triumph Street Triple. According to the PR; the exhausts offer a considerable gain in performance over the stock items (dyno results below), with a significant weight reduction. The stock exhausts top the scales at 7.2kg and with the top-of-the-range carbon slip-ons, the weight is shaved down to 3.5kg.
