Up for auction is a 1970 Triumph Bonneville, Restored. This was a nut and bolt restoration. Everything is new or rebuilt. The motor and transmission were rebuilt, by a shop that just does British motorcycles. It has new Amal Carbs on it. Bike starts first or second kick. The paint was purchased from Don Hutchinson's shop and professionally applied. The pin striping was done by Wild Bill Betz. The nuts and bolts were cad plated. The Tires and rims are new, with new stainless spokes. The rims were made in the UK.The frame and most of the parts have been powder coated. The gauges were rebuilt. There are only a few miles showing on the speedometer, because I had an old speedometer on the bike for the first 190 miles, while the ones were being rebuilt. The bike idles and runs great, the charging system work as it should. The bike runs,Stops and Rides with no problems. I had no trouble with the bike during the miles I have put on it. I have installed a halogen Headlight bulb and also the Pilot bulb. I have tried to describe this bike the best as I can. 2013 Triumph Trophy Fuel Tank Recall Now Includes US
Fri, 07 Jun 2013A recent recall announced for the 2013 Triumph Trophy and Trophy SE for a potential fuel leak has now expanded to the U.S. The recall, previously announced by Transport Canada, concerns a production error for the fuel tank of the affected units. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the two layers used in the construction of the fuel tank may not properly adhere to each other, resulting in a potential fuel leak.

Mon, 29 Jul 2013A manufacturing error by brake manufacturer Nissin has claimed another motorcycle maker. Triumph is recalling the 2012-2013 Street Triple, Street Triple R, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R because of the problem with the Nissin-supplied anti-lock brake modulator. The issue has already resulted in recalls for the 2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (and the Ninja 250 offered in Asian markets) and the 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa.
