Triumph Bonneville description

1968 Triumph Bonneville, Triumph 650 cc featuring a rear hard tail section paired to early Triumph frame. Both the frame and hard tail are texture powder coated for a long lasting finish. The original tabs were left for fuel tank and electronics mounting. This completes a clean package with a minimalist look. The hard-tail rear section is set up to accommodate the oil tank, battery box, ignition switch and tail light/plate mount. Rubber mounting points for the oil tank, fender-brace and fender mounting points are also incorporated into the rear section. Also this bobber features a high visibility LED brake/tail light with integrated license. The wheels feature high gloss power coating and are completely rebuilt with new hardware, bearings, chain, adjusters, axle, nuts, stainless steel brake rod and new bullet adjuster end. A beautiful custom paint scheme and distressed hand-made seat complete the great look of this custom Triumph hard tail. The engine is a complete rebuild from the crankcase up! Engine was completely disassembled, measured refittered with new crankshaft bearings, Rod bushings and case bearings. The sludge trap was removed and replaced and the crankcases were then given the N.O.S. finish for a great factory fresh look. The top end was given a new valve job, fresh bore, new, 020 pistons, Hastings rings rebuilt rocker boxes and assembled with quality made gaskets. All other engine components were re-furbished or replaced for a custom fresh motor. All engine covers were powder coated in a textured black finish to complete the engines unique and fantastic look. This motor utilizes a single Amal carburetor that makes for simple tuning and efficient fuel mileage. Combined with the Boyer ignition module you have a worry free motor with no more point adjusting or timing issues. Transmission has been completely gone through. A 19 tooth sprocket was added with new bearings threw out for long service life! Clutch basket, clutches, primary chain and adjuster are all replaced as is the charging system and battery.
