Triumph Bonneville description

1968 Triumph Bonneville, frame and engine numbers match. Recent repaint of gas tank in original color and configuration. Bonneville decal not applied to tank. Originally the decal was on top of paint and not covered by clear coat. I left it this way for the new owner to make a decision on that. This Triumph Bonneville looks very good overall, too nice to restore. Chrome is good to excellent, seat is excellent, exhaust is excellent. Rims and tires in good condition. I had the tank repainted because fuel had leaked around the petcocks and was causing the paint to bubble. New petcock gaskets were installed after repaint. The top end was recently done. If you leave the bike on the side stand for a week or so, it will leak a small amount of oil. This bike does not use oil, no smoke and is a good dependable rider. Frame and engine numbers match. I will assist with shipping worldwide at buyer's cost. This motorcycle is 48 years old and is sold with that understanding.  The bike is in Calgary Alberta Canada and is sold with a legal DMV Alberta Bill of Sale issued by the owner. I require a $500 deposit by PayPal within 48 hours of end of auction and full payment within 7 days of end of auction.

2010 Triumph Rocket III Roadster [video]

Wed, 07 Oct 2009

Over the past few model years Triumph strove to create some sense of how the Rocket can be used, eventually creating a touring-friendly model with windscreen and saddlebags as standard, called the Rocket III Touring. Then came the Rocket III Classic. More pulled back handlebars, floorboards rather than pegs, and two-tone paint helped define the powerful motorcycle as something appealing to the cruiser crowd.

Another bikes vs. car drift battle

Fri, 13 Jan 2012

Icon have just released a sequel to last year's popular drift video that featured Nick Brocha on a stretched ZX10 racing alongside a Corvette-Powered RX7.  Upping the stakes this time, Brocha is joined by Ernie Vigil, both onboard Triumph Speed Triples that have been built for the sole purpose of moving forward, but sideways. Taking up the rear is a supercharged 550hp Ford Mustang Cobra, quite apt really seeing how the film ends. Like the recent Jorian Ponomareff 'Drift Gymkhana', its great to see another video that does justice to the talent on show.
