Up for sale is this beautiful survivor rare 500cc two stroke, these bikes where advertised as 140mph bikes when they came out, This bike was in a barn by tomah wis. and was a one owner bike, when i got it it was covered in a half inch of oil which preserved it pretty good, The bike runs and drives looks great, has a new seat cover, The chrome has some light pitting in some areas but not real bad, A real head turner. 45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

When MF asks me if I fancy riding the Visordown test GSX-R 600 for a bit, I hesitate for about a millisecond before accepting. Why? ‘Cos my own courier’s favourite Diversion 900 may be heavy and utterly unexciting, but it is also a comfortable and trusty commuter ride that suits the Smoke very nicely, thanks.
