For Sale: a 1976 Suzuki GT 550 with 11,800 original miles. It is ALL original in excellent condition. Starts and runs great -- electric and kick start. Awesome two-stroke power. Paint is great, chrome is great. New tires, chain and battery. Was in dry storage for over 30 years. Registered 'til 2017. Also, comes with original Owner's Manual. Nice collector's bike. Philippine Superbike Champion in Fatal Accident

Four-time Philippines national superbike champion Maico Greg Buncio has succumbed to injuries suffered in a high speed crash May 14 in a qualifying session at the Clark Speedway Racing Circuit. According to the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the 22-year-old Suzuki factory racer high-sided after his GSX-R600 ran over some debris on the track. Maico reportedly rolled into an unfinished barrier and was pierced by a protruding steel bar.

Official photographs and details of the updated 2012 Suzuki V-Strom have emerged as the Japanese manufacturer continues its prolonged teaser campaign to hype its “New Middle-Class Motorcycle”. Indeed, the latest teaser is expected later today but images and specifications on the updated Wee-Strom have emerged from Suzuki’s global site. The 2012 Suzuki V-Strom 650 will again be powered by a SV650-derived 90-degree V-Twin engine with a displacement of 645cc.

Kevin Schwantz to Race 2013 Suzuka 8 Hours

Former Grand Prix World Champion Kevin Schwantz has been making the headlines a lot recently, and not necessarily for good reasons. But finally there’s some good news: Schwantz is  coming out of retirement to race in the 2013 Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race. Schwantz is joining Yukio Kagayama‘s team for the July 28 race, riding a Japanese Superbike-spec Suzuki GSX-R1000.
