Stainless steel Classic crash bar engine guard Suzuki VZ 800 Marauder Desperado is made of high quality stainless steel - OH18N9 - (several times stronger than steel chrome classic black), the crash bar tube diameter is 32 mm and wall thickness of 2.5 mm.

All components are made of modern technology (laser, cnc, tig, etc.), including welds polished to a high gloss (indistinguishable from chromium).

Installation is very simple and precise, without any interventions or modifications to the motorcycle.

Knee-high land-speed record device

This mad looking motorcycle is a land speed record device that never turned a wheel in anger. It was built by the infamous Dave Manning in 1968 using a discarded drop tank from a Korean fighter plane. Manning built a space-frame chassis inside the tiny teardrop and also managed to find room for a Suzuki T500 twin cylinder two-stroke motor.

Suzuki declared a loss of 2.4 billion yen (US$30.0 million) from its motorcycle division over the fiscal year ended March 31, 2012. Though still a loss, it’s an improvement on the loss of 10.8 billion yen reported the previous year. Suzuki attributes the loss to an appreciating yen and the financial impact from heavy flooding in Thailand.
