Here is a well set up Dual Sport/Adventure Touring bike for sale. I bought the bike about a year ago and set it up for off road travel, but have since decided due to my age I'm better suited for 4 wheels under me.
The bike came with and I am including the following items: New Dunlop TrailMax TR91 front tire and medium wear rear tire, (not mounted), 12 volt accessory port, Garmin 550 Motorcycle GPS hard wired to battery, Shad 40 liter tail bag and mounting hardware, Tool kit, Tire plug kit, Air Compressor, Battery tender, Center stand and owners manual. New items added within the last 6 months include: Mitas E-07 Dakar tires mounted front and rear, Bark Busters, SW Mo-Tech engine Guards, SW-Mo-Tech Skid Plate, Moose Racing windscreen 2 in. higher than stock, Over sized kick stand plate, Accessory bar for soft luggage including tool tube with 30 oz gas container installed, and a newly installed with no miles X-Ring Chain and sprockets kit- size 15/47T. Bikes condition is consistent with age, some small scratches but overall paint is bright and clean. Fluids were changed less than a 1000 miles ago, bike is in good condition, runs well and gets consistent 50+ mpg. Since I am getting out of riding, I have a lot of riding accessories such as helmets, bags, clothes, etc. that may be included with a sufficient offer. Contact me for details. |

Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.
Land Speed Record Holder Bill Warner Dies Chasing 300 MPH Record
Mon, 15 Jul 2013Land speed motorcycle racer Bill Warner succumbed to injuries suffered in a 285 mph crash at Loring Air Force Base in Maine. The 44-year-old from Wimauma, Fla., reportedly lost control of his modified turbocharged Suzuki Hayabusa while attempting to reach a speed of 300 mph. Warner reportedly began veering to his right during one high-speed run on the base’s runway after clocking 285 mph.
