Up for sale: Very nice, stock 1972 TS250 Savage (***SEE BELOW FOR TERMS OF SALE) - very nice, stock TS250 - runs and drives great - shifts through the gears, starts and operates as it should with such low miles. Paint looks great - stock, small crack in front fender but otherwise very nice. Exhaust and chrome all over bike look great. Bike is missing signals and mirrors, dash indcators and headlight do not work. See pictures for details (pictures do count for most of the description LOOK AT THEM ALL) Please see pictures for additional details.Buyer responsible for vehicle pickup - can deliver to Davenport Blackhawk swap meet next week for $100 if bike, service fee and delivery fee are paid for in full by August 30, 2016 ***Price is $3,600 or best offer, plus $99 service fee. The parts that I sell are off used bikes in used condition unless otherwise specified (like our NOS items). I try to describe the parts as best I can and try to answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. These are used parts and most show standard wear and tear for the age of the bikes that they came off of. So please ask questions or for better pictures if needed. NOS parts show normal shelf wear for the age of the parts.

When we list the parts for a bike - we list everything we have. If you do not see an item, it was either not usable or has already sold.

RETURNS: I offer a 100% return policy minus shipping. If I miss something in the description it is an honest mistake I DO NOT MISREPRESENT PARTS TO MAKE A BUCK.

FEEDBACK: If there is a problem, please contact us before leaving a negative rating. Issues can always be worked out - we would rather fix issues than lose a customer.

SHIPPING: Shipping charges and quotes include postage and handling and are an estimate based on the item weight and size using USPS or UPS rates. Most packages are shipped USPS or UPS. Parts are shipped every week day, excluding holidays. P.O. boxes are fine. I do combine shipping when possible (limited by size, weight and fragile nature of item), please wait for an invoice to reflect shipping costs before sending payment. I do offer international shipping; for quotes please send a message through the item. Most international parts will be shipped USPS priority. We print shipping labels directly from PayPal, please ensure your address is correct in PayPal before purchasing your items - items can only be shipped to an address listed in the buyer's account. 

COMMUNICATION: Please ask questions using the e-bay messaging system. We do not see notes left in the order details or invoices, only messages sent through e-bay.

Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.

Last weekend's Superstock 1000 race at Donington British Superbikes was a belter. PJ Jacobsen, all the way of the USA, was riding the Tyco Suzuki and took the fight to former Superstock 600 champion and TT racer Lee Johnston. The duo cleared off from the rest of the pack.
