2007 Suzuki Sv650 , Nice, clean SV650-S, with lowering links, billet kickstand, rear cowl cover, Suzuki low seat, GL pro gear indicator, M4 Carbon canister, Zero Gravity touring windshield. Includes stock links, and stock front and rear seats. Bike also has heated grips, ZX-10 shock in rear and .85 Sonic springs up front. K&N Filter installed, and a fender eliminator. LED blinkers, with resistors installed. Front tire has about 1000 mi, rear has only about 500 mi.. This bike is in overall excellent condition, and needs nothing. Oil and plugs recently changed. The most spectacular, and perhaps dangerous, road race in the world is more than a month away — a painfully long wait for fans! — but the Isle of Man is ramping up activities for the 2012 Isle of Man TT with the official race kickoff event slated for tomorrow, Wednesday, April 18, at Villa Marina in the Isle of Man’s capital, Douglas. The launch event takes place at 7pm [GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or 4pm EST in the U.S.], and will broadcast live via webstream on the TT’s official site homepage: www.iomtt.com.

Suzuki to Relocate R&D Facility to Lower Tsunami Risk Area

Suzuki is considering moving its motorcycle research facility from its current coastal location to its main factory in Hamamatsu, Japan, to decrease the risk of damage from future tsunamis. According to a report in the Nikkei business daily, Suzuki is acquiring more land in Hamamatsu to house the research center and other facilities. Suzuki CEO Osamu Suzuki first brought up the idea to relocate some of its higher risk coastal properties during its 2011-2012 fiscal year forecast report.

Ryan Villopoto capped off his fourth-consecutive AMA Supercross championship with an impressive victory at the season finale at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider clinched the title at last week’s New Jersey round so he didn’t have to prove anything in Vegas. But he did, leading all 20 laps and winning by nearly 14 seconds.
