Suzuki SV description

Suzuki SV 1000 S 1,980 original miles, purchased new in 2008, I am the second owner, all original paint YKY 4970 Pearl Blue Vigor (with decals removed) and has the following mods:

Take offs from a 08 gsxr 600 (with only 500 miles): brakes, fender (same pearl blue), forks, triple, 05 top clamp for steering lock
SV Racing 3 1/2" rise bars, 06 gsxr 1000 (under 1k miles) rear shock , tail tidy, matching pearl blue vigor rear seat cover (not shown)
Yoshimura Frame sliders, spools, removed intake snorkel, 5/8" tanks spacers, Yoshimura 2 to1 exhaust with carbon can, Power Commander 3 with custom map

The professionals @ Pro Moto (Venice & Overland) in Los Angeles did the gsxr conversion and custom map, I will include the receipt.

The suspension is completely sorted and fully adjustable. The motor idles smoothly, gets good mileage is docile in traffic with very strong mid range power.
Current reg and insurance, title in hand, always garaged, rear wheel lift and solar trickle charger included, like new.
The original exhaust, snorkel and tail hardware are included with this purchase.
Way more impressive in person and you will love riding this bike.

Readers' Rides: 1997 Suzuki Savage Cafe Racer

Mon, 06 Apr 2020

Gary Corde tells us about his eye-catching 1997 Suzuki Savage cafe racer: I’m happy to brag about my cafe racer. This bike started out life as a ’97 Suzuki Savage. The bike was an unloved and rusted basket case that I purchased to repurpose into a useful motorcycle.

Old boys and proper bikes at the Spa Classic 2012.

Mon, 09 Jul 2012

If you miss seeing factory two stroke racing machinery being ridden properly then you should consider a trip to the Spa classic event in 2013. I was the lucky recipient of an invitation to ride there last week and had a blast riding some tasty kit from the past. I went well at Spa in 250cc GPs  but the circuit scared me on the 500s.

2022 Suzuki Hayabusa First Look

Fri, 05 Feb 2021

Everything you wanted to know about Suzuki's flagship except what it's like to ride For a segment of motorcycling as technologically-driven as sportbikes, 14 years is an eternity – even more so for a category that Suzuki calls the Ultimate Sportbike – but that’s how long it’s been for the Hayabusa. While there was an incremental update in 2013 that brought ABS to the table, until today, the Hayabusa, a motorcycle that, on its inception way back in 1999 had claimed the title of “world’s fastest production motorcycle,” had only undergone two generational updates: the original release and the 2008 revamp. However, today’s announcement of the 2022 Suzuki Hayabusa adds another chapter to this earth-bound missile.
