In 2003, Suzuki redesigned the SV650 with a new pressure-cast aluminum truss frame, new bodywork, new swing-arm with revised rear brake caliper mounting, new exhaust, brand new digital speedometer display and a new electronic fuel injection-induction system to replace the carburator. For 2004, Suzuki pre-owned a new, 40 mm lower subframe and a seat with a narrower design in the front. The trail was raised by two mm, and the rear fender was restyled to clean up the area under the tail lamps and provide more protection against flying debris. First Laps of the 2015 Suzuki MotoGP Racer
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Suzuki put its new prototype race bike through its first test laps alongside other MotoGP racers in preparation for its impending return to racing in the 2015 season. Test rider Nobuatsu Aoki, who had been playing a key role in the racebike’s development, took the new Suzuki 1000cc Inline-Four prototype out for a few shakedown laps before handing things over to Randy de Puniet who completed the bulk of the testing at Spain’s Catalunya circuit. After a day of testing, de Puniet put up the eighth-best lap time, clocking in at 1:42.676, just 0.772 seconds behind Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo who had the top lap time among all participants. It’s important to note however that Repsol Honda and series leader Dani Pedrosa did not participate in this test.

All of the prints are signed by Haslam and Perkin and are priced at £39.95. “Alan Perkin has produced a really nice painting and we wanted to get something out there in advance of Christmas and at an affordable price,” said Haslam. Fri, 31 Aug 2012Roger Lee Hayden and a number of current and former AMA racing stars will be guest instructors at a two-day riding clinic at New Jersey Motorsports Park. The National Guard Jordan Suzuki racer and the other special guests will join the instructors of the Penguin Roadracing School for the “Ride with the Stars” special track day, Oct. 13-14.
