Suzuki SV description
2005 Suzuki SV1000S
6728 miles Runs and rides perfectly New battery and oil change Always garaged Needs nothing Completely stock Aftermarket gel seat plus stock one included I bought this great bike in 2011 and have ridden it only 1400 miles in the last 5 years. For those of you who know these bikes you know how great they are and what a following they still have. They are a very light weight, fast torque monster. It is easy to ride and handles great. I am now 61 years old and have recently bought a BMW K1200GT sport tourer which is a bit more comfortable for an old guy like me. The Suzuki runs and rides like new. It is also very nice looking cosmetically except for the pictured small rash on the right front fairing corner near the headlight. I purchased this at an insurance salvage auction (where I buy all of my vehicles). I have pictured the original auction listing so you can see what little damage there was. I it was a very light lay down (probably less than 10 mph). There was a broken turn signal stalk, a scratched exhaust can, and a broken brake lever which I replaced. There was absolutely no frame, wheel or engine damage. The only scratch/crack in the plastic or metal was the pictured small spot on the front fairing. I rode it home! I can't believe that the insurance company totaled it and sent it to the auction. I know all the plastic fairing pieces on bikes are very expensive. I guarantee that you will love this bike and would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. If you are the lucky winner of the auction and pay the deposit, you are welcome to come and see and ride it and then decide to buy it or not. It is that nice! It has a rebuilt title which can be plated and insured just like any other. Happy to answer all questions. |

Mon, 06 Apr 2020Gary Corde tells us about his eye-catching 1997 Suzuki Savage cafe racer: I’m happy to brag about my cafe racer. This bike started out life as a ’97 Suzuki Savage. The bike was an unloved and rusted basket case that I purchased to repurpose into a useful motorcycle.
Suzuki Confirms MotoGP Departure – Hope of 2014 Return
Fri, 18 Nov 2011As expected, Suzuki has officially announced its withdrawal from MotoGP racing, though the Japanese manufacturer says it plans to return to the world championship in 2014. Suzuki cites the recession, the value of the Japanese Yen and a series of natural disasters as reasons for suspending its MotoGP program for at least two years. Reports of Suzuki’s withdrawal began circulating earlier this week with some staff members reportedly receiving notice late last week, but signs of Suzuki’s impending withdrawal have been around for over a year.
Suzuki Reveals B.O.S.S. Editions of Boulevard C90, M109R and C50
Fri, 24 May 2013Last fall, Suzuki introduced a new tourer called the C90T B.O.S.S. The acronym was obvious enough, standing for “Blacked-Out Special Suzuki“, and that’s what the Suzuki C90T B.O.S.S. was.
