2003 Suzuki Sv1000s , 45t sprocktech sprocket, steel teeth with aluminum body and titanium rivets. Odometer is not 100% correct due to the sprocket size, is most likely around 15k, odometer says 25K, but no way of knowing. New o-ring v-chain, new radiator and hoses, new adjustable clutch and brake levers. All aluminum tube frame. Great bike, fun to ride, quick. Lighter than you would think for its size. It was good to catch up with my old mate Daryl Beattie last weekend in Misano. Daryl was pushing Mick Doohan hard for the 500cc World Championship in 1995 until he high sided and broke his collar bone in Assen mid way through the year. He eventually finished runner up in the series but then some fairly big tumbles from his Lucky Strike Suzuki in 1996 brought his career to a premature end.

Suzuki Requests Invite to Official 2013 MotoGP Tests

When Suzuki pulled out of MotoGP racing a year ago, the manufacturer said it hoped to return by the 2014 season. In the time since suspending its MotoGP program, Suzuki has been showing signs it is on track for a 2014 return. Work on Suzuki’s 1000cc MotoGP project is apparently proceeding as planned, with the manufacturer reportedly ready to join official testing during the upcoming season.

WSBK: 2011 Utah Results

Carlos Checa extended his lead in the 2011 World Superbike Championship, winning both races at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park. The Althea Ducati racer recorded his second double of the season and now has six wins in ten races. Checa also scored the double in Utah in 2008 when Miller Motorsports Park made its debut on the WSBK calendar.
