Nice bike I bought awhile back for a project and have finished. Has new rear tire not yet broken in. Front tire is about 75 percent left. Redid the paint job on bike. Have replaced the subframe for the stock subframe to allow a passenger. Everything else is stock besides the exhaust which came with the bike when I bought it. Sounds really good, and run strong. Plugs replaced less than 50 miles ago. Put on a cyclewerks fender eliminator kit with license plate. I have yet to put the decals on but have them. They are mirrored chrome in color. I have the front fender just repainting it to match the rest of the bike. All parts will come with the bike as seen in pics. The racing subframe, frame sliders, two large side fairings,(one was damaged and professionally repaired) original fender eliminator I replaced, and the chain guard will go on the bike. In November, Suzuki reported its second consecutive profitable quarter from its motorcycle segment, with a net profit of 300 million yen over the six months ended Sept. 30, 2011.

Sadly it does take a bit of time to get going, although any displeasure you might feel as a result would no doubt be offset by the joy of riding down the street emitting an ear-splitting howl, shattering glass and generally disturbing the peace.

Thu, 04 Oct 2012Suzuki is celebrating the production of the 1 millionth motorcycle in the GSX-R family with a limited edition model. Unveiled at the 2012 Intermot show in Cologne, Germany, the Millionth Edition 2013 Suzuki GSX-R1000 comes with a commemorative paint scheme, black Brembo brake calipers, pin-striped wheels, gold fork tubes and red fork caps, suspension spring and nose. The top yoke also features a numbered Millionth Edition plate and the key is decorated with Suzuki’s red “R” logo.
