Suzuki SV description

Awesome 2003 Suzuki SV1000s.
Adult owned by both owners (I am the 2nd owner)
Previous owner painted the bike blue (exact color is Ford Sonic Blue) - used to be silver
Wheels are a reddish / orange color
Puig smoke windshield
Scorpion exhaust
Aluminum tank lifters
Different sprocket (I forget the tooth count but it is geared for quicker acceleration)

The motor is out of a 2007.  The original motor was replaced due to a transmission issue.  The motor was professionally installed by a dealership in Kansas City.  The motor has a couple thousand less miles on it.  Runs great.  I rode it all last spring / summer / fall with no issues.

The radiator was replaced with an all aluminum model last spring.

This is a great bike!  I am only selling because I changed over to a cruiser (getting old) and have no need for two motorcycles.  It has lots of low-end torque and sounds great.  I always get compliments when I ride it.

Has a dent on the right side exhaust due to falling over, it is only cosmetic.  No other damage on the bike.  Comes with the stock exhaust & repair manual.  I don't have the lower fairing (covering the oil cooler).  The license plate bracket is behind the rear tire.  The rear turn signals are aftermarket, front ones are stock.

Misc info - No warranty - Buyer responsible for pick up & transporting.  I tried to include any info I can think of.  May have slightly more miles from taking it out for quick rides.

Any questions please ask!

New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system.  Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.
