Suzuki RV125 description

Thank you for your interest. For sale is an original 1974 Suzuki RV125 Tracker motorcycle. I have started restoring the bike and the bike runs, but the restoration needs to be completed. The bike has been sitting for a while, so the carburetor needs to be cleaned or rebuilt, as the bike is not idling properly. I have all the parts to complete the restoration. I also have another complete 1973 RV125 bike that is in parts, and also included in this auction. I bought the 1973 bike to have some spare parts to restore the 1974 bike. I have clear titles to both bikes, and also have lots of new and used parts (see pictures). One could easily end up with two bikes if patient about assembling. I also have the original shop service manual, user's manual, under the seat tool kit, pump, etc.. Lots of rare parts for this 1974 year bike. I have several new parts, and have installed the new clutch lever and brake lever since I took the pictures so that I can ride the bike around my neighborhood. I also have another set of new clutch/brake levers. There is another set of new front/rear sprockets to setup the bike to ride on the highway. Right now the bike is setup to have a top speed of 45 mph with lots of bottom end torque, but you can change the sprockets to the new ones (included) and set it up for street riding with top speed of 65 mph. I have owned this bike since 1980, and have loaned it out to other family members from time to time. When the bike was returned to me, each time I had restored it to its original condition, and was in process of doing this again. I know the bike is solid, even if it looks a bit old. I am asking $650.00 for everything. Just need to clear out the garage. This is a great father-son project. My son has lost interest in bikes... Feel free to contact me with questions. I am in 10989 zip code. Unfortunately I am not able to ship the bike to you myself, as I am unsure of how to pack all of the spare parts.  However, I will be happy to work with your shipper, provided they offer turn key service.  They pick up everything, pack and ship to you.  Thanks again!

Suzuki GW250 Inazuma Reportedly Coming to Canada

Tue, 30 Oct 2012

The Suzuki Inazuma is coming to Canada, according to multiple reports. The entry-level motorcycle was displayed at a recent dealer meeting in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, though it appears Canadians may have to wait as bit longer for the Inazuma to arrive in showrooms. According to Canadian sites CMGOnline and MotorcycleMojo, Suzuki is in the initial stages of introducing the 248cc streetbike to Canada, so a 2014 launch may be more likely than 2013 availability.

Suzuki Unveils New Bandit 650 Range

Sat, 08 Nov 2008

In our ongoing coverage of everything worth covering and talking about and beating to death that happened at EICMA, Suzuki unveiled a new Bandit 650 range in Milan earlier this week. Both the 650 and 650SA models received styling and practical updates that bring a new sharp and dynamic look to the 2009 middleweight class. With new edgy styling, the naked Bandit 650 is headlined by sleeker modern headlights, and newly styled mirrors that make it resemble an angry bunny rabbit.

Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 1 Results

Mon, 02 Jun 2014

Gary Johnson narrowly beat out Bruce Anstey to take the first of two Supersport races at the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Riding the Daytona 675, Johnson’s win was the first for Triumph since 2003, ironically, with Anstey taking the victory that year in the Junior 600cc class. The race started three hours behind schedule due to fog, but once it began it quickly became a duel between Johnson and Anstey.
