Suzuki RM description

You are bidding on a 2003 Suzuki RM65/Kawasaki KX65. I am second local owner. It has never been raced by either owner. First owner barely road it. We have ridden 5-6 times a year at most for last 3-4 years. Son has outgrown and just got a bigger bike.  Black plastics are in great shape with just minor dirt scratches, no big gouges. Starts and runs very easily and very well. Have run only quality two stroke oil (Ti Lube or Amsoil) and only run 91 premium (no alcohol). Also have full set of factory yellow plastics, extra yellow shrouds, extra new in package black rear fender, levers, grips, several air filters, etc. Also have factory owners manual/shop/set up guide. Currently has custom Call of Duty Black Ops graphics. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer 2003.

If you aren't familiar with the RM65, it was manufactured for Suzuki by Kawasaki and is identical to the KX65 other than plastics. Kawasaki offered two different engines in its KX65 the RM has the higher horsepower of the two (as noted in the joint RM/KX owners manual).

I have sold 4 other dirt bikes, lots of parts, and two trucks on Ebay, and have always had great feedback on them. You will not be disappointed. Don't miss out on a really nice bike!

Must be picked up locally in Des Moines, Iowa area. I am willing to make some arrangements on a case by case basis to meet halfway for longer distance buyers, but otherwise it is local pick up.

Eugene Laverty Talks Suzuki MotoGP Testing

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

In this diary entry, Voltcom Crescent Suzuki’s Eugene Laverty reflects on a busy three weeks that saw him visit Suzuki HQ in Hamamatsu in Japan, test the Suzuki MotoGP machine in Okayama and Phillip Island; and then race to a podium position at the Sepang World Superbike round in Malaysia. The past few weeks have been one hell of an adventure. The trip started out in Donington for the British round of the World Superbike Championship and from there I travelled directly to Japan for my debut test on Suzuki’s MotoGP prototype.

Anti clockwise Knockhill and riding in the North East with GP winners.

Wed, 06 Jun 2012

I was both nervous and excited for my first ever reverse direction track day last week at Knockhill. From rushing downhill into the left hand off camber hairpin to sweeping up onto the start/finish, nothing bears any resemblance to riding round clockwise. I actually raced my 350LC in the opposite direction in 1982 but it still took a few laps to get my head round what essentially is a brand new track for Scotland.

Two spruced-up Japanese ADV bikes go head-to-head. Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield | Videos by Sean Matic We’ll admit this is an unusual ADV test. There are any number of competitors we could have lined up against the new-and-improved 2020 Honda Africa Twin.
