Suzuki RM description

Thank you for visiting. If you are not a resident of the USA please do not buy or bid. If you have no intention of paying or have no means to pay, please do not bid. I've had to realist twice because of people not being able to pay.

I am SELLING a 2006 Suzuki RM 85 dirtbike. I have recently had the engine rebuilt (top and bottom end). This included new crank and bearings as well as the top end (piston, pin, rings etc) rebuild kits by wiseco and hotrods.

The bike has not been taken to ride since the engine was rebuilt.
Some of the other work done to the bike: new fork seals, new tires, new chain, new suspension bushings at shock linkage and the swing arm bearings in addition to wheel bearings. I had a used radiator installed because the last one didnt have the fairing mount, and a used rear fender installed as well. The bike has a set of excel rims with stock hubs.
Bike will include a service manual, extra linkage bearings, new rear inner tube, new brake pads, new air filter and some plastics. I don't have a title for the bike but will provide bill of sale

Had this bike for my nephew but family relocated and now I have no use for it. I've put a lot of time and effort into keeping this bike in great shape. The bike is very fast, I wouldn't recommend it as a first bike for a child.

I'm very motivated to sell, if you have questions about the bike and are actually interested in buying and not just kicking tires, please feel free to ask.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Arlington Results

Tue, 21 Feb 2012

Defending champion Ryan Villopoto won his third consecutive AMA Supercross race in Arlington, Texas, but the victory was overshadowed by a season-ending injury suffered by one of his main challengers Chad Reed. TwoTwo Motorsport Honda‘s Reed trailed Villopoto in second place for the first six laps at Cowboys Stadium. Disaster struck on Lap 7 however as Reed crashed hard in the whoops.

Max Biaggi loses the plot . . and very nearly his teeth !

Tue, 29 Mar 2011

I’ve just got back from Donington Park and the second round of the World Superbike championship. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.

New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system.  Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.
