2004 Suzuki RM85. Bike is located in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. I travel back and forth to the Los Angeles area (San Fernando Valley) and can arrange a delivery for $50. Otherwise, it is available for pickup in Lake Havasu. Motor has just been completely rebuilt with new crank, steel sleeved std bore cylinder, forged Wiseco piston, Barnett clutch, auxiliary Acerbis tank, chain, sprockets, air cleaner, etc. Ridden two times since rebuild, and runs and rides excellent. Donald and Andrew Higginbotham, are a father and son team that converted a Suzuki RF900 into an electric motorcycle at their home over the course of three months worth of Saturdays. It ended up costing about $3,000 to complete with parts from Electric Motorsport. The bike gets about 35 miles per charge at a maximum speed of 55mph.

Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.

Suzuki Motor of America Appoints New President Takeshi Hayasaki

Suzuki Motor of America has named long-serving executive Takeshi Hayasaki as the company’s new president, replacing Toru Muraki in leading the company heading into its second year since emerging from bankruptcy proceedings. Hayasaki assumed his new role on Dec. 16, 2013, bringing years of experience with Suzuki Motor Corporation.
