1977 SUZUKI RM 125 Excellent example of a beautiful vintage motocross bike. This bike is a partial restoration as it retains it's original frame paint, motor has new piston and rings, fluids all drained and storage oil has been put in motor and also soaked original chain in storage oil. Many original parts with NOS side covers, new Vintage Suzuki fenders and seat cover.New tires front (vintage Goodyear) and back were installed. Many authentic in appearance decals including a serial number decal on the front of frame. The fuel tank is mint and the fork legs are like new. This motocross bike is a prize! Motocross lift stand is included. No warranty, no title and shipping is the responsibility of winning bidder/buyer. $300 deposit is due within 24 hours and the remaining balance due within three days. Mon, 17 Oct 2011Ryan Villopoto swept all three main events to win the inaugural Monster Energy Cup and take home the $1 million prize. The 2011 AMA Motocross and Supercross Champion was a favorite going into the Oct.15 Monster Energy Cup at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, Nev. Villopoto completed the hat trick by winning the Cup and the prize money.
US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
Yoshimura Suzuki Signs Martin Cardenas to Race AMA Superbike Championship
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Reigning AMA Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas has signed on to race in the AMA Superbike class for Yoshimura Suzuki. The move was rumored to be in the works for quite some time now, especially following Cardenas’ release from the final year of his contract with his former employer Team Hammer. Cardenas will return to the Superbike class this season, riding a Suzuki GSX-R1000 alongside teammate Chris Clark.
