FOR SALE!!!! 2012 Suzuki RMZ 450. Title in hand and ready to race. I have a lot invested in this bike and is fresh starting first kick every time. Original piston and clutch bike was not abused. First off I had KB5 revalve the suspension for 180-190 pound rider. They also did fuel mapping and throttle body work after I put on a Full Yoshimura exhaust systemon it. Has a Works Connection Elite clutch perch, Rental twin wall bars and Emig grips. Works Connections skid plate and Light speed carbon fiber covers. Also has a Hammer head shifter an Enjoy seat cover, Rental sprocket and DID gold chain. O yeah and custom graphics by MGX. Tires and break pads are 90%. Bike is ready to go. Suzuki Recalls 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman Scooters
Fri, 10 Feb 2012Suzuki issued a recall campaign for its 2012 V-Strom 650 and Burgman scooters due to a defect in the brake light activation switches. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, rear brake lights may not activate when the rider squeezes the brake levers of the affected models. As a result, other road users behind the affected unit may not realize it is slowing down, increasing the risk of a crash.
Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
