This one is a RIPPER! - For 2011 Suzuki has taken the reigning FIM/AMA Supercross Championship winning RM-Z450, and have fine-tuned it into an even more potent machine. The 2011 RM-Z450 has undergone numerous updates: It now meets a stricter AMA noise limit (94 decibel) while keeping smooth engine output the compression ration has been increased from 12.2:1 up to 12.5:1 for higher output intake and exhaust timing has been changed for better engine feeling with lower noise output and ECU settings have been updated for more linear acceleration and improved over-rev. In addition, Suzuki has also focused on making tuning and maintenance easier on the 2011 RM-Z450 two optional couplers come with the unit to change the EFI setting (richer and leaner), and a convenient fuel line cap is included for regular maintenance. Tue, 09 Mar 2010Focused Events Rider Development Days at Silverstone offer a new, intense tuition-based experience on a selection of new Supersport machines, hosted by high-level instructors including Niall Mackenzie, Jamie Whitham and Steve Plater.The courses will be situated at Stowe circuit, Silverstone and will be aimed at Novice and Intermediate riders. Dates for the events have been confirmed as 14th May and 2nd September.Pupils will not only be taught by World class instructors, the machinery available for use will be high-end Supersport machines from Ducati, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha. 2013 AMA Supercross Atlanta Race Report
Mon, 25 Feb 2013James Stewart captured his first AMA Supercross win in nearly a year, leading every lap in front of 68,987 fans at the Georgia Dome in Atlanta in his most consistent main event showing so far this season. The Yoshimura Suzuki racer was dominant in Atlanta, posting the fastest qualifying times and taking the holeshot to lead his eight-lap heat race before doing it again in the 20-lap main event. Stewart’s previous win was March 10, 2012, at Daytona International Speedway.
